Occasionally I get emails from people wondering whether they can actually earn money online or if it’s all just scams.
Today’s article is going to prove once and for all that yes, you can earn money online, and that it’s extremely easy to do so.
If you follow through with the instructions and suggestions in this article, you’ll earn at least $50 over the next 72 hours.
Of course you could earn that much sooner depending on the effort you invest.
Don’t stop at $50, I just set that as a goal because it’s a very realistic target that could net you a tangible reward like a tank of gas, a nice steak dinner, or something cool on your Amazon wish list.
While a credit card number isn’t required to earn the money, it will speed things up.
I always use a credit card issued by a large bank because of the dispute protection offered in the event the merchant does something I didn’t agree to.
Any link that you click in this article will open in a new window. I did this intentionally so you can refer back to this page if you get stuck or want to move on to another task.
Without further ado, here’s how to make money online now!
I don’t like filling out surveys anymore, but I can’t dispute that they remain one of the easiest to make money online right now.
Here’s how they work:
- signup for a free account
- voice your opinion by taking surveys on a wide range of subjects
As I mentioned above, a credit card will help speed up your earnings.
Most of these survey sites issues payouts via PayPal so if you don’t already have one, signup for a free PayPal account here.
The first step to earning $50 is to register at a few survey sites.
Make sure you use a spreadsheet or some way to keep track of your login information so you can keep track of what each site owes you.
Depending on how comfortable you are navigating online and how fast you can type, this step will take between 10-30 minutes.

If you’re willing to use a credit card number, make sure you keep track of the ‘trial’ services and memberships that you register for.
Don’t cancel them right away as that may disqualify your earnings from completing the survey.
Instead, if you don’t have any interest in them, cancel 2-3 days before the trial membership or subscription expires.
That way, you don’t get charged for the membership and you can keep your earnings from the survey.
Once you’re done registering, spend a few hours completing surveys.
Don’t come back to this page until you’ve accumulated $30 in survey earnings.
Filter by the highest paying offers on each of the 4 sites listed above.
If you don’t find any appealing offers on the 4 sites above, check out my complete directory of survey sites.
By now, you’ve registered with at least 4 survey sites and have completed ~ $30 worth of surveys.
The next step will involve registering with a few services that offer website and application usability testing services.
Webmasters pay these sites to have their websites evaluated for opportunities to improve the usability and experiences on their websites.
In turn, these firms will pay testers (like you and me) to take 15 minutes to offer our opinions.
Not surprisingly, there’s a surplus of website testers ($15 for 15 minutes of work? sounds good!) so you’ll want to signup for each one of these services and with a little luck, you should be able to to complete 5-6 tasks each month.
After you register with each of these sites, you’ll be asked to complete a test which involves submitting a practice task so your work can be evaluated.
It usually takes 24 hours to hear back after you submit your practice task but if you do it on a weekend, it may take a little longer.
This step will take anywhere from 1-2 hours to complete (this includes registering, completing a practice task, and submitting 1-2 real tasks. This should occur within a 24-72 hour timeframe.
- What Users Do
Unless there’s a drought, you should be able to make an easy $15 from one of the usability testing services above.
That brings your total earned to around $45.
While you’re waiting to hear back from one of the usability testing sites, move on the final step to complete the task at hand of earning $50 within 72 hours or less.
To push you past the $50 mark, you’re going to signup for three microjob marketplaces and complete a few tasks.
These microjobs usually don’t take very long to complete and many of them can be completed in under a minute. The downside is they usually only pay a few cents per task.
This step will take about an hour to complete (including registration and completing enough tasks to push you past the $50 mark).

See how easy that was?
If you completed each step, you will have made at least $50 by submitting your opinions and clicking through some menial tasks.
I wrote this article because I wanted to demonstrate to you how to make money online now to open your eyes to how easy it is to earn money online if you have some extra time.
I want to hear from you now! What thoughts did you have as you were completing each step? Share your successes and learning opportunities in the comments below.
