Whatever you want to call it, these micro jobs usually involve crowd sourcing a large number of people (usually via the internet) to complete simple tasks that computers can’t complete, or that other people don’t want to do themselves.
A few examples of HIT’s are naming colors, transcribing recorded audio files into written text, creating a logo for someone, etc. HIT’s are widely available and there are several large firm that pay for workers to complete these micro jobs.
